Trader Joe’s Low Calorie Lemonade – review and nutritional info for the pleasingly sweet (enough) summertime drink from Trader Joe’s. The regular lemonade they sell at TJ’s is tasty, but I was looking for a loc-cal version when I stumbled upon the then new lemonade. Trader Joe’s also has a low-cal pink version.
OAKLAND COUNTY MOMS PRODUCT REVIEWS
Even though the Arnold Palmer’s (lemonade and iced tea mixed) are “lite” they pack a calorie and sugar wallop. I’m glad I tripped over a genuine low calorie summer treat at Trader Joe’s (and if you’ve been following me at all, you know how much I love Trader Joe’s!). Trader Joe’s sells low calorie organic lemonade and pink lemonade and it’s delicious!
Here’s my The Trader Joe’s Low Calorie Lemonade review / nutritional info – The Lemonade 64 oz bottles sell for $2.99 and the lemonade is made with organic lemon juice and organic cane sugar. The Tlemonade is very tart and refreshing. The best part is that an entire 8 ounce serving of drink yields only 40 calories and 9 grams of sugar! I was so surprised since I am used to seeing the sugar counts in the 20s (and even 30s) for most juices and such. It’s a great treat for my kids and I don’t have to worry about overloading them with sugar and have them bounce off the walls.
I also bought a 64 oz bottle of an iced-tea/lemonade mix to rival the Arnold Palmers that Arizona Iced Tea makes. I’m going to do a blind taste test soon. I’ll let you know how it goes in a later review.
