Trader Joes Peanut Butter Review – review, ingredients, nutritional info and cost comparison of Trader Joes Peanut butter and other peanut butter brands.
Trader Joes Peanut Butter is another product I wanted to review to see if I liked the taste better than traditional peanut butter brands like Skippy or Jif. The price is a bit cheaper than traditional brands at only $1.79 for a 16 oz jar so I knew I was off to a good start.
Trader Joes Peanut Butter ingredients are simple enough: Dry Roasted Peanuts and salt. The label boasts that Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter contains no hydrogenated oils.
This is not a peanut butter you just unscrew the lid and dive into. There is some work to be done before enjoying Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter. Quite a bit of stirring is involved to mix the oil with the ultra-thick butter. (I’ve tried other all natural types that needed to be stirred and they were way worse). The work is somewhat tedious but I actually didn’t mind it because it allows you to mix the peanut butter to the consistency you prefer (runny or ultra-thick). Speaking of consistency, this stuff really sticks to the roof of your mouth. All peanut butter does, but this brand is extra-sticky, especially if you don’t mix all the oil through it.
The taste of Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter is fantastic. I really appreciate the simplicity of it. I haven’t bought another brand of peanut butter since first trying Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter. The mixing is a minor roadblock for me but I still prefer it greatly over traditional peanut butters.
The nutritional info and ingredients of Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter are relatively on par with traditional peanut butters. I hope this Trader Joes Peanut Butter review is helpful.
