Village of Rochester Hills Tree Lighting 2017
This year’s event takes place on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6p-9p. Nearly a million Christmas lights illuminate the entire shopping center all at once with the throwing of a switch. The official tree-lighting takes place at 7p sharp. Oakland County Moms was HONORED to throw the switch one year as a guest of Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett and I can tell you what a thrill the event is.
Village of Rochester Hills Tree Lighting also is the official welcome of Santa Claus for the holiday season. Santa usually arrives by fire truck to the delight of thousands of people.
