It was near overwhelming to read through the six columns of Vineyards Deli menu items up on the wall. Homemade soups. Reubens. Pita sandwiches. My husband ordered some fries and I’m glad I didn’t order my own because the one order came in a huge basket the two of us couldn’t finish.
The portion sizes are what you would expect from a reputable deli. I left feeling more than full. My only complaint is that my chicken was a tad dry, but the bread was awesome and the meal was fresh. Vineyards Deli is also impressive that the vegetables used are all grown in their very own garden. It’s a family run operation and they offer Gluten Free options, a vegan menu, and low-carb breadless sandwiches. Plus, everything is trans-fat free.
It was my first time to Vineyards Deli, so the interior seemed a bit odd to me. One half of the place is like a chocolate factory offering selections from Nibbles and Nuts. There’s also Bloom’s – a selection of hot and fresh Kosher meals (with some options in the freezer for purchase), and finally the full deli, Vineyards. My husband and I went to the Vineyards deli section. You approach the counter to place your order, pay at the register and then have a seat and wait for them to bring out the order. Even though there was a long line and many hungry customers, the staff was super nice and ran a smooth operation. Everyone was served quickly and with a smile.
