Vinsetta Grill is a cozy, casual restaurant serving ribs, steak, seafood, and its impressive Build Your Own Burger – 5 steps to your own original creation, with a total of 300,000 combinations.
VINSETTA GRILL ROYAL OAK PICS
Vinsetta Grill seems to have a little bit of everything. It’s casual, yet has a sophisticated “Royal Oak” or even “Birmingham” feel. With the attractive decor and lovely ambiance, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the menu is priced modestly.
Ambiance aside, the major attraction at Vinsetta Grill is the Build Your Own Burger portion of the menu.
Here’s a quick summary of the steps:
- Step 1: pick your burger – beef, turkey, veggie or chicken
- Step 2: Choose a cheese (cheese lovers selection of 10 different cheeses)
- Step 3: Choose up to 4 toppings from a list of 20 (pick from the usual or go off the board with hard-boiled eggs, roasted chiles, or roasted corn and black bean salsa)
- Step 4: Choose a Sauce (there are 18 different kinds to choose from)
- Step 5: Pick your bun
I should also mention there’s a Step 3.5 where you can add some premium toppings like avocado, fried onion strings, chili, and sun-dried tomatoes. You can always choose additional toppings at a cost of 50 cents per additional topping or cheese. Beef and chicken burgers start at a very reasonable price for the quality and options.
To make things easier, they even have a check off sheet at the table so you don’t have to memorize your order, you can just check off your selections on the form and hand it to the server.
In addition to the unique burger option, the bar is quite extensive with a huge selection of wines, including some high-end selections for special occasions.
The prices are extremely fair. When all was said and done, we had a sit down meal for two in a nicely decorated restaurant for less than a trip to less fancy gourmet burger/sandwich places like Burgrz or Vineyards Deli. If you’re in the mood for fine dining, they offer Stuffed Filet Mignon and fresh seafood dishes.
Vinsetta tries to meet all needs. It has a little bit of everything and draws all kinds of crowds. We saw moms with kids, business men, and even an elderly couple lounging at the bar.
Vinsetta Grill has a lot of extra special touches – mints after the meal, burgers with so many toppings they nearly fall apart, a well-trained wait staff that is dressed more for a high-end restaurant… Honestly it’s like getting a higher-end experience with the casual feel when it comes to pricing and dress. You can show up in jeans, or dress up for the evening. Either way, you’re set for an enjoyable meal.
