YMCA Camp Nissokone Oscoda 2025

YMCA Camp Nissokone Oscoda is located on 170 acres of spectacular lakefront in Oscoda, Michigan near Lake Huron. Nissokone offers one, two and three week-long summer Overnight Camps for youth and teens and is surrounded by 1,000 acres of national forest. Nissokone is best known for its adventure programs, including sailing, horseback riding and Teen Leadership Development (Wi-LD) programs. Nissokone was featured in Outside as a Top 10 camp in the US for Outdoor Adventure. YMCA Camp Nissokone is an ACA accredited, state-licensed summer camp. Transportation is available weekly from Birmingham and Plymouth.

About YMCA Camp Nissokone Oscoda – Since 1914, Camp Nissokone has helped youth and teens unplug and discover the world around them. Camp Nissokone offers more than canoeing, ziplines and horseback riding. The staff at Camp Nissokone believe that all young people deserve the opportunity to discover what they can achieve; the camp teaches young people to believe in themselves to master new skills, overcome fears, and make responsible decisions. With has a wide variety of activities for all ages, and is perfect for getting into nature for adventure and play under the careful guidance of responsible counselors.
