Rochester Frost Festival 2025 preview, schedule of events, and pics. Frost Fest is a FREE Winter Festival hosted by the Downtown Rochester DDA. The inaugural event is set to take place rain, snow, or shine on Friday, January 17, 2025 and Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the streets of Downtown Rochester.

Rochester Frost Festival 2025
It doesn’t look like the annual Rochester Fire & Ice event will take place for 2025. Instead, Frost Fest looks to be taking its place for the near future. Frost Fest appears it will have SOME of same FREE activities as Fire & Ice had, minus the extended hours and minus the fireworks. Basically, Frost Fest appears it will be a stripped down version of Fire & Ice with a heavy focus on ice sculptures.
