Rink is located at Beverly Park near the tennis courts. Open ice, not structured. Open beginning at 8a, park admission is FREE. Bring your own skates and skate at your own risk. Barnum Park Ice Skating Rink (corner of Purdy and Frank streets in Birmingham, MI)
The ice rink at Barnum is non-refrigerated and only open when weather permits. Barnum Park ice-skating is open during daylight hours only. Contact 248-530-1700 or 248-530-1700 for ice-skating conditions. The ice rink may be covered with snow at times, but city crews will “clear it as soon as feasible”. As Crooked Lake freezes over, park staff occasionally keeps it smooth for blades but the ice itself is largely unstructured and not maintained. Bring your own skates, as there are no rentals. Riley Park ice rink is open daily, weather permitting. Hours are daily from 10a-10p. Skating is FREE to the public. Maintained by the City of Rochester Hills. The upper pond is open daily for recreational ice skating (NO ice hockey), from 10a-5:30p, weather permitting. Maximum of 25 skaters at one time. Rosie’s Park features an ice rink maintained by Madison Hts DPS employees. The rink lights go on at dusk so the rink remains open (weather permitting) until 10p 7 days per week. Rosie’s Park ice rink features 2 hockey goals and an open area for open skating. Rosie’s Park is maintained by the City of Madison Heights.

Pack your skates and head for the lake. An outdoor family ice skating rink is located in West Playfield at Lake St. Clair Metropark. The rink, a comfort station, a warming room and picnic tables for resting are conveniently located close to the parking area. Bear Creek Park ice skating rink is located near the park’s parking lot. Ice skating is unsupervised and ice skate rental is not available. Hockey is prohibited at Marsh View Park. Rochester Outdoor Ice Skating Rink

The downtown Rochester ice skating pond at Municipal Park is located at the end of Ludlow street in Downtown Rochester, Michigan. The pond is open for ice skating during the winter as long as the ice conditions are suitable. Park entry is free. Municipal Park does not offer ice skate rentals. The rink is maintained by the City of Rochester.

Spencer Park in Rochester Hills offers ice skating on their lake. There are two to three separate areas designated for hockey or ice skating. Admission fee to Spencer Park is required to gain entry and the park won’t open in the winter until ice-conditions are suitable for ice skating. Spencer Park also offers a heated shelter with indoor restrooms. Skate rental is available. They host a pond hockey tournament every winter (weather permitting). Call 248-656-4657. Hours – 10a-dusk. Ice skaters are welcome to use the Wixom Civic Center fountain area for ice skating when it freezes for the winter. The rink is only open when ice conditions allow for skating. Blake’s offers a 2000+ sq ft ice skating rink. The rink is synthetic ice and open most weekend and holiday breaks from early December through early January. Hours are 1p-7p Mondays through Fridays, and 11a-7p on Saturdays. 50-minute skating passes are avail to purchase on their website for $10 and they offer skate rentals for $5. The rink is part of Blake’s Winter Wonderland Experience which includes outdoor igloo dining and open-air bar.
