Auburn Hills Splash Pad review, pics, video, and fee info for the splash pad at Riverside Park located in Downtown Auburn Hills, MI. Auburn Hills has a new family fun addition to its downtown area that will keep the kids busy this summer.
UPDATE 5/16/20 – Due to concerns about the Coronavirus / Covid-19, the Auburn Hills Splash Pad will not open for 2020.
The new splash pad in Auburn Hills is built in a large open space. There are in-ground water sprinklers that shoot streams and sprays of water for the kids to run and play in. The splash pad has steps to one side for parents to sit on and observe their kids while they play. The splash pad is geared to children of all ages but is very small and won’t hold attention long. It’s simple enough for the little ones to enjoy, and even the older kids can appreciate some water fun to cool down on a hot summer day.
The pad is FREE for residents with a “proper identification card” (driver’s license, state ID, Auburn Hills Community Center Card. For non-residents, there is a $3 charge. Hardly worth even the $3 if you’re not a citizen of AH.
