Kirk in the Hills Preschool Open House – Come meet the teachers, tour the classrooms, and see for yourself all that Kirk in the Hills Preschool has to offer. This is a FREE event. Programs for 2 year old – young 5 year olds. For more info, 248-973-8017 Hosted by Kirk in the Hills Preschool.
Farmington Hills Safety & Crime Prevention Fair – This is a FREE event for the community that is focused on providing preventative information to parents, adults, teens and even kids. Topics being discussed include: Scams/identity theft prevention, safe sleeping practices for infants, medication vs. candy, firearms safety, medication take-back, and other important topics that would benefit the public. There will be a dedicated kids area where kids can color cut-out police cars and badges. The Hawk FH Kick Off 2 Summer – FREE Open House with giant bouncers, tours, giveaways, crafts, and performances. FREE outdoor movie at sunset (around 9p). Concessions available for purchase. All ages FREE event. Hosted by the Farmington Hills Special Services (Parks & Rec) Department.

Blake’s Lyon Township Fall Kick-off Celebration – Free Funland admission from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (jumping pillows, John Deere Speedway, Amish play structures, Mr. Bones Outhouse, Hillbilly Wagon, and animal petting farm. Live music, food trucks, cider garden. $1 from every dozen donuts and u-pick apple bags will be donated to South Lyon based charity Active Faith
Michigan Makers Market at The HAWK Community Center – The juried craft fair will feature fine art, beautiful jewelry, high-quality creative goods, hand-crafted soaps and candy from approximately 50 local artists in various mediums, such as painting, sculpture, fiber, ceramics, printmaking and wearable art. Milford MLK March
Milford MLK March on Main Street at Prospect Hill Shopping Center. Grab your family and friends and head downtown to join in for the 19th annual March on Main Street in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Lineup begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Prospect Hill Shopping Center parking lot. The march begins at 1p and will conclude at the SHAC / River’s Edge Market. Hosted by Huron Valley MLK Day.

Auburn Hills MLK Day Event – Community-wide celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. a community-wide celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Operation Cover Me for Grace Centers of Hope. Theme for 2024 is “Be Love – Our Goal, Our Community”. Community Challenge: challenge the citizens of Auburn Hills to commit to taking steps that promote beauty, love, and justice in the community and beyond. Auburn Hills is in need of 1.5-yard sections of fleece to make tie fleece blankets to donate to Grace Centers of Hope. Also, will accept blankets already made.
