Farmington Summer Concerts at Riley Park – Riley Park in Farmington, Michigan will host free summer concerts on Friday nights at the Walter E Sundquist Pavilion as part of the Rhythmz in Riley Park concert series.
Also usually featured at Riley Park will be the Lunch Beats noon-time summer concert series every Wednesday this summer.
Concerts run every Friday from 7p-9p and feature pop music, folk, country, rock-a-billy and more. Chairs and blankets are recommended.

Yoga in the Rock Garden
Yoga in the Rock Garden – (8:40a registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations. Parents, grandparents, nannies and caregivers: Bring your little ones to Wint Nature Center for a caregiver-guided hour of activities, fun and friendship with local families on Thursdays. Participate in a caregiver-led activity provided by nature center staff. Enjoy coffee, tea and conversation with other caregivers. Strengthen community connections –conversation for adults; social interaction for babies, toddlers and young children. Optional activities may take place outside, dress for the weather. This program is free and no preregistration is necessary, although park entry fee applies for those without a vehicle permit. Caregivers must supervise children at all times. Siblings are welcome. Clarkston Preschool Nature Program
Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child.
