Riley Park Ice Rink Glow Skate
Riley Park Ice Rink Glow Skate – Riley Park Ice Skating Rink Special Event. Riley Park ice rink is open daily, weather permitting. Hours are daily from 10a-10p. Fun dance music with special disco lighting. $5 per person. The rink does not have rental skates, but there are of skates available for skaters to borrow. Kid Flicks One at the Greater Farmington Film Festival. This special screening for kids is presented by the New York International Children’s Film Festival and the Farmington Community Library. This is a FREE event. Hosted by the Greater Farmington Film Festival.
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. Farmington Memorial Day Parade
Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade
Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.
