Wade & Watch Movie Night
Wade & Watch Movie Night for adults at Waterford Oaks Wavepool – Enjoy an adults swim night out at the Waterford Oaks
Wave Pool followed by a showing of the movie Jaws during the Wade and Watch program. Gates open at 7 p.m. for swimming until dusk, then dry off and watch the movie on land, weather permitting. Bring a beach towel or blanket and a change of clothes for the movie. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food. Cost is $10/person and preregistration is required online. Who Barks in Red Oaks Park at Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Search for canine creatures lurking around the bends of
Friendship Woods and make a craft celebrating International Wolf Day. This program is suitable for ages 5 and up. Cost is $5/person. Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim
Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims: Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry, a gift for owner, and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows. Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13.
