American Legion Post 216 (510 W Commerce, St. Milford, MI)
Three ceremonies conducted by Highland VFW Post 9914. NOTE – Ceremonies are very brief. Those planning on attending should arrive at the locations well before the scheduled start times. 8a at Highland Cemetery, 8:30a at Highland Veterans Memorial Park, and 9a at West Highland Cemetery. Farmington Hills Kickoff to Summer – The Hawk FH Community Center (fhgov.com). Enjoy FREE fun with
bouncers, fitness obstacle course, closest to the pin contest, basketball shot contest, fitness demos, the aquatic center, live entertainment crafts, and more. Concessions on-site for purchase. FREE popcorn. All ages event. Hosted by the Farmington Hills Special Services (Parks & Rec) Department.

Highland’s Red White & Blues Fireworks Festival – event hours are from 5p-11p/fireworks at dusk at Old Highland Middle School Location (N John St and M-59. historic Ford Estate in Grosse Pointe Shores. All media is represented, including Painting, Woodworking, Ceramics, Handmade Jewelry, and more. Shop for one-of-a-kind works of art in all styles and media. This is an art retail shopping experience, where you can talk with the creators themselves about their artworks. Kids Night at the Hawk
Kids Night at the Hawk Community Center – Parents can plan a special night-out while kids get to enjoy a night-in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in. Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should bring a swimsuit if they wish to participate in pool activities. AGES 5-11. Resident/Non-Resident $25/$30. To register. Hosted by Farmington Hills Special Services Department.
