Light Up Beacon Park
Light Up Beacon Park is family fun at Beacon Park in Detroit. Children of all ages are invited to experience “Toyland” at Beacon Park with larger-than-life light features, including a Choo-Choo Train, Giant Teddy Bear and other photo moments. These new and returning interactive lighting features, totaling more than 125,000 twinkling LED lights will illuminate Beacon Park. Opening Night 11/18 from 5p-11:30p features dancers, live entertainment, live reindeer, Santa, and more. Hosted by the Downton Detroit Partnership.

Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+. Belleville Mom2Mom Sale – Family-to-Family Sale at Belleville High School. Admission is $2 per adult / kids
FREE. Shop for gently used children’s clothing, toys, books, baby items, sports equipment, household items, and more. Concessions will be available and all proceeds will fund the school’s Early Childhood Center playground project. $25 for a Large Table to sell your items. Sheep Shearing and Pancake Breakfast

Hosted by Waterford Parks & Recreation. Enjoy the farm animals, make & take craft, the annual sheep shearing, and a pancake breakfast. Admission is FREE but donations are being accepted to benefit the park/farm. Pancake breakfast cost is $5 for 10 & under and $8 for ages 11+.

Belleville Mom2Mom Sale – at Bellview Elementary School. $3 Admission. Proceeds will go toward supporting the Specials classes at Bellview

Center Line Independence Festival
Center Line Independence Festival & Fireworks – at Memorial Park Centerline. Fireworks close out Saturday evening of the annual Independence Fest which features crafts, live music, food trucks, a beer tent, and more.
