Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series
Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month.
Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

National Mini-Golf Day at Cranbrook on the Green Mini Golf Course – Mother’s Day Event. Every year the
second Saturday in May is National Miniature Golf Day, and this year it falls on the same weekend as Mother’s Day. In honor of both holidays, Cranbrook is offering free admission to one special adult in your life on Saturday, May 11 and on Sunday May 12. To receive the complimentary ticket, please purchase all tickets for your group on-site. The last tickets will be sold 45 minutes before closing. Meadow Brook Garden Club – (248-364-6200, meadowbrookhall.org). The Meadow Brook Garden Club also offers special programs that feature a guest speaker. These take place monthly at Meadow Brook Hall. Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Ticket holders for sessions cancelled by Meadow Brook Hall in the case of inclement weather will receive a full refund. $15. More Info / Book tickets.
