Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month.
Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Heritage Park Maple Sugaring
Heritage Park Maple Sugaring in Your Own Backyard – four 1-hr time slots to choose from each day. Discover the basics of making maple syrup from your own Maple tree. Witness the process of collecting sap and boiling it down over a campfire. Enjoy a free syrup treat. Syrup products and sugaring supplies will be available for participants to purchase. All ages. $7. O.A.K. in the Hills at Spencer Park. Enjoy archery, camping, yoga, rock wall, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking,
reptiles, pickleball, zip line and more during O.A.K. in the Hills Outdoor Adventure Kickoff. All ages are welcome and admission is FREE. This event is sponsored by Oakland County Parks and Recreation and the City Rochester Hills.
