Michigan Taco Fest – on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4p-9p, Saturday, August 14 from 11a-9p, and Sunday, August 15 from noon-9p at Springfield Oaks County Park. Indian Springs Metropark Sensory-Friendly Hike. This program is designed for people with different sensory processing abilities and their families. An accessible, relaxed paced hike on a 1/3-mile of paved Pondside Trail. Leave from the Park Office Picnic Shelter to explore using senses in nature through interactive demonstration, like searching for camouflaged objects, learning bird calls, feeling different textures, and scent investigation with scent jars. A quiet space will be available to use as needed during the program. All Ages. $3 per child, $5 per adult, Children under 2 Free. Pre-register online or by calling 248-625-7280.

Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. Oakland County Fair Fireworks at dusk at Springfield Oaks County Park. Oakland County Parks hosts fireworks at the Oakland County Fair following an 8p Figure 8 Race at the Fair’s grandstand. Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Stonewall Pumpkin Festival at Van Hoosen Farms – This year’s Stonewall Pumpkin Festival returns to Van Hoosen Farms in Rochester Hills from 10a-4p (Pumpkin Carving and Fall activities) and 7p-9p where people will be allowed to view the lit pumpkins on the wall. Hosted by the City of Rochester Hills.
O.A.K. in the Hills
O.A.K. in the Hills at Spencer Park. Enjoy archery, camping, yoga, rock wall, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking,
reptiles, pickleball, zip line and more during O.A.K. in the Hills Outdoor Adventure Kickoff. All ages are welcome and admission is FREE. This event is sponsored by Oakland County Parks and Recreation and the City Rochester Hills.
