Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. Lexington Fireworks – Lexington Stare Harbor will glow with fireworks at dusk. The annual parade will follow on July 1 at 11a Music, entertainment and parade kick off the festivities. For more info, visit www.lexingtonmichigan.org
Downtown Milford 4th of July Parade – Downtown Milford. Due to road closures, this year’s event will take a new scenic route. The parade will begin at 11a on Cabinet Street and will proceed east on Commerce Street to Main Street. Then, will head south on Main Street to end at the entrance of Central Park. For the best parade view, set up a seat along the stretch of Commerce Street from Cabinet to Main Street. You can expect to see proud veterans, color guards, marching bands and more proudly make their way through the route while the community cheers them on. Hosted by Downtown Milford and the Milford Historical Society.
Grosse Pointe Art Fair – $7 admission plus A Ford House grounds pass. A juried fine art and fine artisan fair in the newly built visitor center at the historic Ford Estate in Grosse Pointe Shores. All media is represented, including Painting, Woodworking, Ceramics, Handmade Jewelry, and more. Shop for one-of-a-kind works of art in all styles and media. For more info, email artfairfun@gmail.com

Waterford Oaks Try BMX for Free
Waterford Oaks Try BMX for Free – Never experienced the thrill of BMX before? Try it for free! Riders must be
age two or older and wear long sleeve shirts, pants and closed-toe shoes (no Crocs). There is no charge for admission, bike rental, helmet rental or track time on free trial day. For more information, call 248-924-0043.
Must be a 2-wheeled bike (no training wheels) or a balance bike for our younger riders. Helmets are required, full-face helmets are recommended, long pants and long-shirts are also required. Waterford Oaks BMX does have a rental fleet of bikes and helmets. Limited to first come-first served at an additional cost.
