Ferndale Jingle & Mingle
Ferndale Jingle & Mingle takes place in Downtown Ferndale. Hours are Saturday from 10a-9p and Sunday from
11a-6p. This year’s event will feature DJ sounds, live entertainment, special PATIO Zone holiday drinks at local bars and restaurants, and a holiday market. Stop by the event while shopping and dining in Downtown Ferndale. Hosted by the City of Ferndale.

Ferndale Santa Parade
Ferndale Santa Parade takes place in Downtown Ferndale. Santa is coming to downtown. Check out Santa as he rides through downtown on a Firetruck and stops at Wilson Park at 1p, 1:30p at Geary Park, and 2p at Schiffer Park for 15 minutes at each location followed by crafts, letter writing, cookies, and s’mores from 2p to 4p at Schiffer Park. Hosted by the Downtown Ferndale DDA.

Oh Deer, Santa’s Here at Heritage Park. Families will get a chance to visit and get photos with Santa outdoors at the historic Red Barn in Heritage Park. Bring your camera. Seasonal craft provided. The Nature Center will be open to visitors and a warm campfire will be going outside with hot cocoa. S’more kits will be available for additional purchase for $1 each. Please dress for winter weather. Each family will have limited time with Santa. Register yourself and bring up to 5 people of your choice (adults and children). If you have more than 6 in your group, please register for more than one spot. Hosted by the Farmington Hills Special Services Department. $15 res / $20 non res. Pre-registration required.

Mt Clemens Light Parade
Mt Clemens Light Parade for Christmas in Downtown Mt Clemens. Downtown Mt Clemens will be glowing in the night as cars transformed into holly jolly masterpieces parade through the streets spreading Christmas cheer. Hosted by the Mt Clemens DDA. Info – 586-469-4168 or downtownmountclemens.com.

Heritage Park Snowshoe Trek – Explore the woods on snowshoes. Lesson provided and an additional charge for snowshoe rental. Special discounted rental fee of $5/pair for program participants or bring your own snowshoes. If no snow, we will walk the trails. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy boots. All ages. $5. Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll
Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+. Farmington Hills Egg Hunt Extravaganza
Farmington Hills Egg Hunt Extravaganza– at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills. Six one hour time slots begin at 10a. Hop down the bunny trail and search for eggs, stop at treat stations, and enjoy inflatables and egg painting. Rain or shine event. All ages. $9 res / $14 non res. Pre-registration required. Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation.
