Bowers Farm Winter Park
Bowers Farms Winter Park – Wednesdays, 5p-9p, Thursdays 5p-9p, Fridays 4p-10p, Saturdays noon-10p, Sundays noon-9p
Skating – Weather permitting and bring your own skates. Admission is $5. Skating is FREE, skate rental is $8. Winter Park has much to offer including tubing and $17 glow tubing (appointments required), ice skating (weather permitting, bring your own skates), hot cocoa, bonfires, food at the Farmers Kitchen and more. Tubing (unfortunately) isn’t FREE (it’s actually quite expensive) and you have to pre-register which takes the starch out of a spur-of-the-moment experience.

Southfield Winter Fest
Southfield Winter Fest – at Southfield Pavilion. Fun includes games, FREE ice skating, carriage rides, marshmallow roasting, ropes course, climbing wall, and more. Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Novi Memorial Day Events
Novi Memorial Day Events – Novi Memorial Day Ceremony. Commemorate the lives of our service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice with a patriotic concert and a flag honor walk. The event will conclude with a wreath laying, playing of Taps, twenty-one-gun salute, and a moment of silence and reflection to remember those who were lost. This event is open to the community.
