Sylvan Lake Easter Egg Hunt – To participate please donate a dozen plastic eggs and candy to Sylvan Lake City Hall by 4/6/23. There will be multiple hunts based on age groups. Get your child’s picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Hosted by Sylvan Lake Recreation.
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony.
Huntington Woods Fire Prevention Week Events – Hay Day / Touch a Truck / Public Safety Open House. At Burton Field (Huntington Woods, MI 48070, 248-541-3030). FREE hay rides, refreshments, crafts, games, pony rides, a petting farm. Touch a Truck event until 5:30p. Families with special needs are invited to arrive at 3:30p.
