Era with prehistoric dinosaurs throughout. Guest will stroll through this outdoor Dinosaur adventure and get up close and personal with almost 100 life-like creatures, reptiles and life-size dinosaurs. National Mini-Golf Day at Cranbrook on the Green Mini Golf Course – Mother’s Day Event. Every year the
second Saturday in May is National Miniature Golf Day, and this year it falls on the same weekend as Mother’s Day. In honor of both holidays, Cranbrook is offering free admission to one special adult in your life on Saturday, May 11 and on Sunday May 12. To receive the complimentary ticket, please purchase all tickets for your group on-site. The last tickets will be sold 45 minutes before closing. Bring your Mom, Grandmother or someone who is like a mom to you out for a self-guided spring hike on the trails and make some memories. Enjoy the wildflowers that are starting to bloom and share some quality time with the special person in your life. Be sure to stop by the nature center to get a certificate and a flower to plant at home. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Permits are on sale NOW. Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony
Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony – Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362)
Lake Orion will host brief ceremonies at 9a at Eastlawn Cemetery (37 E Flint Road Lake Orion) and at 10a in Downtown Lake Orion at Children’s Park (201 S Broadway St #335, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A parade will be held in Downtown Lake Orion at Flint St & Broadway at 11a. Parade steps off at Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). If you would like to participate in the parade, please contact Tom Allport at 248-202-6198. These events are all hosted by American Legion Post 233 – Charlton-Polan Post.

Beverly Hills Memorial Day Parade
Beverly Hills Memorial Day Parade and Carnival – The parade begins at 11a in the east parking lot of Groves High School, travels north on Evergreen to Beverly and concludes at Beverly Park. Carnival follows the Parade at Beverly Park from noon-2p. For more info, visit villageofbeverlyhills.com

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.
