Shelby Lions Club Carnival
Shelby Lions Club Carnival – Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights will
host the annual carnival put on by the Shelby Twp Lions Club this Spring. This event will be a fundraiser for the organization. This event will be held at Lakeside Mall.
The 11-day carnival has rides and food featured by North American Midway Entertainment.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.

Oakland County Parks Summer Spectacular
Oakland County Parks Summer Spectacular at Catalpa Oaks County Park (248-858-0916). Join Oakland County Parks for
Summer Spectacular, an evening of free outdoor fun with DJ music, make-your-own kite, arts and crafts, kite flying, face painting, a balloon artist and food trucks. No registration is necessary. This is a FREE event. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Sylvan Lake Fireworks
Sylvan Lake Fireworks at Dusk – Displayed over Sylvan Lake. Best viewing spots along the lake closest to Downtown Sylvan Lake.
Oakland County Boat Club Fireworks shot over Sylvan Lake. Fireworks start at dusk. There is no parking on the streets. Paid parking will be available at the Community Center. Buy a parking pass from City Hall starting in June. Hosted by the City of Sylvan Lake and the Oakland County Boat Club.

Sterling Hts high school Mom to Mom Sale – at Sterling Hts High School. The National Honor Society of Sterling Heights High
School is hosting a Mom 2 Mom sale to raise funds for Friends of Foster Kids on Saturday. The sale offers 50 tables, both personal & business participate. Children, family, high school, & college-aged items. Big ticket room. Concessions will be available. Strollers are welcome. Early bird admission is $3, General admission 9a is $2, noon is $1. Oakland County Parks FREE Admission Day – All Oakland County Parks Division Parks (see list in description). Oakland County Parks and Recreation offers complimentary park entry to all guests. Addison Oaks Park/Day Use, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks Park, Lyon Oaks Park/Day Use, Lyon Oaks Dog Park, Orion Oaks Park/Day Use, Orion Oaks Dog Park, Red Oaks Dog Park, Rose Oaks. Visitors can enjoy free daily park entry with access to natural areas, trails, dog parks and all park amenities.
