Light Up Beacon Park
Light Up Beacon Park is family fun at Beacon Park in Detroit. Children of all ages are invited to experience “Toyland” at Beacon Park with larger-than-life light features, including a Choo-Choo Train, Giant Teddy Bear and other photo moments. These new and returning interactive lighting features, totaling more than 125,000 twinkling LED lights will illuminate Beacon Park. Opening Night 11/18 from 5p-11:30p features dancers, live entertainment, live reindeer, Santa, and more. Hosted by the Downton Detroit Partnership.

Commerce Twp Preschool Open House at Commerce Twp Community Library . Meet with preschools from Commerce, Walled Lake, Milford, and White Lake to help find the school best fit for your child. Representatives will be there to answer any questions you have about the process. This program is hosted in partnership with the Commerce Township Community, Walled Lake City, and Wixom Public Libraries. Children welcome. Light refreshments provided. Meadow Brook Hall Twilight Tours at Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens (248-364-6200,

Bring a date or friends to sip a cocktail while the sun sets over the Great Estate in this beautiful evening experience. Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date.
