Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night
Berkley Summer Outdoor Movie Night – Berkley, Michigan Parks and Rec is holding Free Summer Outdoor Movie Night at Community Park (next to the Berkley Community Center). They are also hosting another outdoor movie on the Berkley Community Center Lawn. The movies start at dusk but the fun starts at 6p. Often there is plenty of entertainment for the kids at these events. Often there have been inflatables and concessions stands before the movie starts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy! This movie is part of Berkley Parks and Rec’s Summer Fest. Summer Fest a series of fun events for people of all ages that reside in Berkley.

Have fun shooting at 3D zombies and other monstrous targets during Monster Mayhem. General archery instruction will be provided. All equipment is included. Wint Nature Center Early Childhood Hour Out (ECHO) – Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473)
Parents, grandparents, nannies and caregivers: Bring your little ones to Wint Nature Center for a caregiver-guided hour of activities, fun and friendship with local families on Thursdays. Participate in a caregiver-led activity provided by nature center staff. Enjoy coffee, tea and conversation with other caregivers. Strengthen community connections –conversation for adults; social interaction for babies, toddlers and young children. Optional activities may take place outside, dress for the weather. This program is free and no preregistration is necessary, although park entry fee applies for those without a vehicle permit. Caregivers must supervise children at all times. Siblings are welcome. nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Berkley Touch-A-Truck Event
Berkley Touch-A-Truck Event– Berkley Public Works Interactive Touch-A-Truck at Berkley Community Center. Kids and adults can
explore and learn more about the variety of Public Works, fire, and police trucks and equipment used. This hands-on experience will also feature opportunities to paint a plow and name the Public Works trucks for the upcoming year, with coloring pages and yard games onsite to entertain kids of any age. Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13.
