Kids ages 9-15 are invited to participate in the 2nd annual Flashlight Egg Hunt at Camp Agawam, Fort Pontiac. This isn’t your typical egg hunt. Dress for the weather, event is held rain or shine. Lake Orion / Orion Twp Easter Bunny Bop – at Orion Center 9:30a, 11a, & 12:30p (3 different sessions)
Photo visit with a special bunny, refreshments, craft projects an egg hunt with toys and candy-stuffed eggs and a few other surprises. Bring your own basket for filling with candy and prizes. Youth will be broken down by age for equal opportunity hunting for all. Pre-registration required, spaces are limited. Egg hunt will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather. Troy Maple Syrup Time – at Stage Nature Center. Take a guided tour through the sugar bush of the Stage Nature Center to discover how maple trees make sugar and how people have harvested it through the ages.  This family-friendly program highlights natural and local history of our region. Tour includes a visit to the sugar shed to see a wood-stoked evaporator in action and activities to learn more about syrup making. Everyone will sample maple treats and children will have an opportunity to make a simple craft. Shop for Michigan-made maple syrup, cream, candy and more. Tours every 15 minutes.
