Indian Springs Homeschool Nature Explorers at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)

Homeschool Nature Club is a monthly drop off program geared towards homeschool children ages 7-14 years old. The third Thursday of each month will cover a different topic with a lesson, hike, fun experiments, and activities. This is a great chance to supplement your at-home learning. Ages 7-14. $10 Child. Indian Springs Metropark Easter Egg Scramble Along the Trail at Indian Springs Metropark Participants will search for eggs hidden in themed locations along the trail. Keep an eye out for our favorite busy bunny getting ready for Easter. Bring your camera to capture photos along the way. Please bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. All ages event. $6 per person. Preschool Nature Explorers is a monthly nature program for preschool-aged children (accompanied by an adult). The first Thursday of each month we will learn about a different nature topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and activities or crafts. Ages 3-6. $3 Child / Adults FREE. Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series

Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month.

Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Following the moon cycle connects us with nature in a meaningful way. Enjoy a mini hike, cozy fire and calming meditation during the full moon. No meditation experience necessary. Dress for the weather. The program is suitable for ages 7 and older. Cost is $5/person.
