Campus Martius Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Skate – What’s more romantic than gliding along the ice hand-in-hand with your sweetheart while enjoying majestic views of the Detroit skyline? The rink will be lit up with the colors of love and feel-good ballads and classic love songs will fill the air. All couples are welcome to join this celebration of love. Tickets and skate rentals may be purchased onsite at the park and are offered on a first come, first served basis. Admission – Adults $12, Under 12 $9.
Sloan Museum Galentine’s Party – 810-237-3450, sloanlongway.org. Pamper and spoil yourself and your besties with shopping, karaoke and more. All four museum galleries will be open to event attendees until 8p. A cash bar and the Coffee Beanery Cafe will also be open for food and beverage purchases during the event. Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date.
