Marshbank Park Hayrides – Hayrides leave every half hour.
Experience the changing seasons at Marshbank Park while enjoying a 20 minute tractor-drawn hayride. You’ll encounter a few nature knowledge stops along your route for added adventure. Take your picnic blanket and find a cozy spot to delight in cider and a seasonal treat. There will be a to-go craft kit too! The registration fee is for one timeslot and includes a private hayride for your group of 20 maximum people, cider and treat, craft and 4 roll up picnic blankets. This program and the fee has been adapted to adjust to covid guidelines, your hayride is private for your selected group of 20 maximum. Pre-register here
Spring Fling Egg Hunt – Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 4:45p (toddler egg hunt) through 9p – six 45-min time slots available. (flashlight egg hunt for tweens & teens)
Grab eggs and hunt for the golden ones, then turn them in for treats. Mr Bunny will be there, so bring your camera and a basket to carry your goodies. A petting farm and train ride will be available at the event too. Check-in a half hour before your registration time. The hunt begins promptly at the scheduled time on your receipt and all eggs are usually found within 10 minutes. This event will go rain or shine. Troy Stage Nature Center “EGG”stravaganza – 4 timeslots to choose from. Families will take a short spring hike on their own and not with a guided group. At stops along the way, participate in egg games and activities. $14 per child. For more info, visit troynaturesociety.org.
Troy Stage Nature Center Earth Day Celebration – 86 Plastic will give a short program to highlight that less than 5% of what we send to recycling is truly repurposed. She will be presenting ways to replace common household (plastic) items for a more sustainable swap. Learn how to reduce waste, reuse what you have, and even save money. Center Line Independence Festival & Fireworks – at Memorial Park Centerline. Fireworks close out Saturday evening of the annual Independence Fest which features crafts, live music, food trucks, a beer tent, and more.

Commerce Lake Fireworks – North Commerce Lake / Commerce Twp MI. Fireworks launched from a barge on the north end of Commerce Lake. The show will go on rain or shine! In the event of severe weather – the rain date will be the following day. Hosted by the North Commerce Fireworks Committee.
West Bloomfield Marshbank Park Camp Out – at Marshbank Park. Enjoy fishing, a craft, tent decorating contest, nature hikes, campfire + s’mores, and more. You can purchase dinner from a food truck or pack a picnic. $10 resident / $12 non-resident. Pre-register here. Hosted by WB Parks.
