Blake’s Cider Mill Funland – Kids can enjoy hayrides, trike track, straw mountain, corn mazes, Bunnyville farm, a petting farm, and many Halloween attractions every day in September and October. Must purchase a day pass to the event to receive the hayrides, they don’t sell hayride pass tickets ala carte. Blake’s books private hayride and private bonfire events for groups on weekends late September through late October. You can even add meals to the packages!
Ladies Night Out Lake Orion 2021 – Enjoy shopping, dining, raffles, extended hours, and special deals throughout Downtown Lake Orion as part of the Lake Orion DDA’s Ladies Night Out Social District events held the last Thursday of each month. Ladies Night is held in collaboration with Social District Nights held every Thursday.

Discovery at Dusk – wbparks.org Hit the trails for a sunset hike while searching for the animals most active during twilight. You might be lucky enough to spot fireflies. After the hike, bask in the glow of a campfire, roast s’mores and listen to some stories. This is a family program, all children and adults must register. $7 residents / $9 non-residents. Blake’s Lyon Township Fall Kick-off Celebration – Free Funland admission from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (jumping pillows, John Deere Speedway, Amish play structures, Mr. Bones Outhouse, Hillbilly Wagon, and animal petting farm. Live music, food trucks, cider garden. $1 from every dozen donuts and u-pick apple bags will be donated to South Lyon based charity Active Faith
Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Blakes Kids and Canines Trunk or Treat – Bring the kids and dogs for an afternoon of FREE Halloween fun, complete with costume contests for both children and their four-legged friends. In addition to candy, there will also be homemade dog treats.
