Maybury Farm Making Maple Syrup Tours
Maybury Farm Making Maple Syrup Tours – 50165 Eight Mile approximately 1 ¼ miles west of Beck, Northville Twp, MI 48167. Take a hayride to the Maple tree grove, tap the trees, bring sap back to evaporator and watch how maple syrup is made. Your family will not only see all of the steps in producing maple syrup but they will also take part in the process. Maple syrup and maple syrup products for purchase in the General Store in the Welcome Center. Dress warmly and boots are a must. Call 248-374-0200 for cost info and registration info. Bloomer Park Sap to Syrup Pancake Breakfast – (3 time slots available). Visit Bloomer Park and our Sugar Bush to see an old-fashioned sap-to-syrup boiling operation. We will be making syrup from trees tapped right here in Rochester Hills. Sample some real maple syrup and enjoy a pancake breakfast complete with sausage, juice and coffee. Waterford Oaks Try BMX for Free – Never experienced the thrill of BMX before? Try it for free! Riders must be
age two or older and wear long sleeve shirts, pants and closed-toe shoes (no Crocs). There is no charge for admission, bike rental, helmet rental or track time on free trial day. For more information, call 248-924-0043.
Must be a 2-wheeled bike (no training wheels) or a balance bike for our younger riders. Helmets are required, full-face helmets are recommended, long pants and long-shirts are also required. Waterford Oaks BMX does have a rental fleet of bikes and helmets. Limited to first come-first served at an additional cost.

VoRH Car Seat Safety Check-up – Fire Department technicians will inspect your child seats, provide installation tips, and ensure your children are in the right seat for their size and age. Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic
Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – at Waterford Oaks. Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements

Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by Pontiac Waterford Elks 810. The parade route is along Dixie Hwy. beginning at Sashabaw Rd., then traveling NW to the intersection of Dixie & Williams Lake Rd. For more info, visit www.waterfordmi.gov.
