West Bloomfield Winter Solstice Celebration at Recreation Activities Center – Celebrate the most magical and darkest night of the year and the slow return of the sun. Come learn about nature in winter as you explore the half mile lantern lit trail. Enjoy a glowing craft, view the night sky with telescopes, photo ops, cocoa and marshmallows by the fire and more. SLARA recommends that children 6 & under sign up for the first time slot. Children 7+ sign up for the 6-8pm time slot. This is only a recommendation, children 3+ are invited to both time slot.
