Milford Movies at Central Park – Milford Twp is hosting their FREE Milford Picnic and Movies series in Downtown Milford on select days through the summer. Movies start at dusk. Milford Community Picnics take place at Central Park and feature games, bouncers, refreshments, hot dogs, climbing wall, pony rides & petting farm, crafts, and science alive.

Kensington Metropark Fall Festival – Enjoy a fun-filled weekend of harvest-themed activities for the whole family. Tour the farm, view traditional demonstrations, and be entertained by Rosco the Clown. The Kensington Living History Village will be open, showcasing early pioneer skills. Make sure to take a horse-drawn hayride to and from the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkins for you and your family. (Pumpkins and gourds are priced according to size. Standard public hayride rates apply). All ages. FREE Event. No pre-registration required.

Trick or Treat Along the Trail – Celebrate Halloween with fun, safe and non-scary trick-or-treating in the park for the whole family at Kensington Metropark. Follow the path of pumpkins along the festive trail to find fall-themed photo opportunities and more. Dress in your costume and bring your candy bucket to collect goodies – adults too. All ages. $5 per adult / $5 per child / Under 2 FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark.
Highland Trick or Trucks – at Milford High School ( 2380 S Milford Rd, Highland, MI 48357)
Not only will kids get the experience of trick or treating, but they will also get to see the area’s biggest trucks. Possible trucks will include a dump truck, fire engine, bulldozer, and more. The Big Reveal Milford Christmas Event – Stores on Main Street in Downtown Milford reveal festive holiday Christmas and holiday window displays to their stores. Come downtown and watch the kids “unwrap” the storefronts. Local merchants will wrap their storefronts on Tuesday, get busy, and reveal their holiday best on Thursday night. Kensington Metropark Snacks with Santa
Kensington Metropark Snacks with Santa – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). A holiday season tradition at the Farm. Each visit includes a horse-drawn hayride or sleigh ride (weather dependent on which is available), a holiday sing-a-long, (complete with cozy blankets, song sheets, and jingle bells), snacks, (fruit, cookies, juice, hot cocoa, and coffee), and most importantly, a visit with Santa by the Christmas Tree.
