Great Lakes Crossing Malloween – The first 2000 children in costume (12 years old and under) receive a goody bag to use for trick-or-treating throughout the mall. Trick-or-treating is at participating stores marked with a balloon. Trick-or-treating starts at 11a and runs through 1p, Family Fun entertainment from 1p-3p. While supplies last. Detroit Grand Circus Dog Park Halloween Costume Party
Detroit Grand Circus Dog Park Halloween Costume Party – Owners are encouraged to dress their pets to impress for a chance to win a prize in one of these categories: Best Costume, Scariest Costume, Most Creative Costume, and the Best Pet & Parent combination. The annual event will also feature Halloween Themed games and gifts for dogs as well as treats for their parents and DJ spinning tracks. Hosted by the Downtown Detroit Partnership.

Kensington Weekend Hayrides or Sleigh Rides at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com)
Enjoy a horse-drawn, tractor-drawn hayride, or wintery horse-drawn sleigh ride (depending on the weather) through the wooded trails around the Farm Center. 20-minute hayrides. All ages. $3 child / $5 adult. Pre-registration is not required. Tickets for weekend hayrides are sold at the Farm Center Office.
