Royal Oak Free Summer Concerts
Royal Oak Free Summer Concerts – the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce will take place Center Street Pop-Up Park on Thursdays this summer. Summer concert series features music from local acts. Food is available for purchase from many find Royal Oak Eateries. Admission to the events is FREE. Kids activities will be provided.

They also have a great indoor bounce room & party room. On Fridays they open up their HUGE open bounce room for open jump for the low price of $9 per child (parents of children are FREE).

Royal Oak Try Hockey for FREE – “Try Hockey for Free” Clinics are a great way for boys and girls ages 12 and under to try out the sport of hockey without having to make the investment into equipment. There’s no experience necessary – Suburban Ice provide the instructors and the equipment for you to use. Pre-registration required to save your child’s spot at www.royaloakicearena.com/try-hockey-for-free. Hosted by Royal Oak Ice Arena / John Lindell Ice Arena.

Come Out and Play
Come Out and Play – Ambassador Park. Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out and
Play event. During this special day, day camps and members of the public can enjoy free access to the zip line, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zip line. A waiver form is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are required for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes. No registration is required. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program
Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home.
