Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Clarkston Friendly Forest Halloween Event – on Saturday between noon-3p (reserve your time slot). Presented by Independence Twp Parks Recreation & Seniors. Stony Creek Fall Wagon Tours – at Stony Creek Metropark – Evening Wagon Tour & Campfire
Stories. Tractor-drawn wagon ride along the nature trails with staff sharing stories about Stony Creek’s history and features. After, enjoy a campfire and interpreter-led stories. Weather Dependent. Troy Community Center Puzzle Palooza
Troy Community Center Puzzle Palooza – (248-524-3484). Teams of 2, 3, or 4 will compete against each
other to see who can finish a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle the quickest. Team fee includes puzzles to compete with and light snacks/refreshments.
