Center Line Independence Festival & Fireworks – at Memorial Park Centerline. Fireworks close out Saturday evening of the annual Independence Fest which features crafts, live music, food trucks, a beer tent, and more.

Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm
Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program
Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Kensington Metropark Chow Time at the Farm – Ever wanted to feed the donkeys or give the goats their
chow? Help farm staff feed resident animals, including pigs, goats, cows, and more. Learn what each animal eats and why. All ages. $5 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.
