Indian Springs Metropark Great Skeleton Scavenger Hunt – Grab your family, friends and your courage and come find these skeletons in The Great Skeleton Scavenger Hunt. Your first stop is the Environmental Discovery Center where you will pick up your skeleton scavenger hunt map and form. Then head out on the nature trails to spot as many skeletons as you can. Remember to pay attention to what you see them doing. Bring your scavenger hunt form back to the Environmental Discovery Center to see if you won a prize. All Ages. FREE event. Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm
Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Kensington Metropark for the whole family. Follow the path of pumpkins along the festive trail with costumed characters to find fall-themed photo opportunities. Upland Hills Farm Fall Festival Weekends
Upland Hills Farm Fall Festival Weekends – Enjoy visiting the animals, magic show, farm demos, hayrides through the woods, storybook trail, pumpkin picking, pony rides, and cider & donuts during Harvest Festival weekends. Harvest Festival Weekends are Saturdays & Sundays from 10a-5p. Harvest Festival Weekends include hayrides. Evening hayrides are from 7p-10p on Fridays and Saturdays. Kensington Metropark Fall Festival – Enjoy a fun-filled weekend of harvest-themed activities for the whole family.
Tour the farm, view traditional demonstrations, and be entertained by Rosco the Clown. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch are available. Pumpkins prized according to size. All ages. FREE event.
