Time Out – A Quiet Space for Adults – On Sunday nights at 7:30, Northminster Presbyterian Church is hosting a time of peaceful silence. This is not a religious service: this is a space for anyone and everyone seeking a little more quiet time in their lives.
Pastor Chris will open the Northminster Sanctuary at 7 p.m. as quiet, meditative music plays.
Quiet activities, such as reading, writing, or coloring, are welcomed and encouraged. Tools for meditative practices will also be available.
We ask that you leave your phone at home or in the car; but a phone/technology check-in will be available at the entrance of the sanctuary.
All are invited, regardless of personal background or religious tradition.

Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play
Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play at the Fitness Center – (248-524-3484). Free for fitness members
or purchase a Day Pass. New opportunity for the youngest patrons to work on gross motor and socialization skills, while burning off energy in the cold-weather months. The gym will have a variety of age appropriate toys to ride, push, or explore. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an individual aged 16 or older. Drop-in, no advance registration required. Free for fitness members, or purchase a day pass. Children under 3 are free. Fitness Center pass and membership info. Hosted by Troy Recreation.
Indian Springs Preschool Nature Explorers

Preschool Nature Explorers is a monthly nature program for preschool-aged children (accompanied by an adult). The first Thursday of each month we will learn about a different nature topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and activities or crafts. Ages 3-6. $3 Child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration required. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home.
