Stony Creek Metropark MetroBarks: Paws in the Park – (586-781-4242, metroparks.com)
Explore Stony Creek Metropark with your furry friend. During each program, a park interpreter will meet you at different dog-friendly rustic trails throughout the park. Enjoy a nice hike through the woods as you discover the trees, wildflowers, and animals that call the Metroparks home. All ages event. $5 Adult / $3 Child. 9:30p is Kids Night Out at Troy Gym. a great opportunity for parents to have a night off while their children burn off some energy at the gym. Pack a snack or small dollars/quarters for snack time. Space is limited, pre-enroll is preferred. $20 per child. More info at troygym.com.
Ortonville Movie in the Park
Ortonville Movie in the Park – Brandon Twp Parks and Rec is hosting the annual Movie Night at the park. Enjoy a free outdoor summer movie in Ortonville in the evening. The fun starts at 7p with a variety of activities. Enjoy walking trails, playground, music, games on the sledding hill, s’mores, bouncehouses & inflatables, a petting zoo, and more. Concessions will be available for purchase throughout the day and evening. The movie will start at dusk (at around 9p). Be sure to bring your own chairs and blankets!

Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission
Cranbrook Art Museum Juneteenth Free Admission – In celebration of the Juneteenth holiday, Cranbrook Art Museum gallery admission will be free for all. Though the upper galleries will be closed for an exhibition changeover, visit the lower level for the permanent exhibitions, “Constellations and Affinities: Selections from the Cranbrook Collection” and “Building Cranbrook: Saarinen in Michigan.” You can also stop by the FIKA Café for a snack and engage in artmaking activities for all ages in the lounge.
