DIY Street Fair Ferndale – Ferndale is hosting their free DIY Street Fair and Funky Art Fair in Downtown Ferndale.The DIY art event is a free 3-day event in Ferndale, Michigan where local artists, crafters, businesses, groups and organizations, musicians, restaurants, brewers and others. Kensington Weekend Hayrides
Kensington Weekend Hayrides – at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). Enjoy a horse-
drawn or tractor-drawn hayride (depending on the weather) through the wooded trails around the Farm Center. 20-minute hayrides. All ages. $3 child / $5 adult. Pre-registration is not required. Tickets for weekend hayrides are sold at the Farm Center Office.

Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm
Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Common Ground Art Fair Birmingham
Common Ground Art Fair Birmingham – More than 100 artists from across the country presenting their handmade artwork in ceramics, painting, photography, glass, jewelry, sculpture, wood and more. The Fair’s artist booths will be on Old Woodward south of Maple Road. Hosted by theguild.org. Saturday from 10a-6p and Sunday from 10a-5p.
