Rochester Parade of Heroes
Rochester Parade of Heroes – Schedule: 8a – City of Rochester Ceremony at Mt Avon / 9a – Parade begins at
Mt Avon Cemetery in Rochester / 10:30a – Parade ends at Veteran’s Point, Rochester Hills, with a closing Ceremony by Rochester Hills / 11:30a – Hot dogs at Rochester Fire Station.. Hosted by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce. in conjunction with the City of Rochester, the City of Rochester Hills, and Oakland Twp.

Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Rochester Hills Festival of the Hills Fireworks – at Borden Park. Oakland County’s largest fireworks show returns to Borden Park in Rochester Hills. The Festival of the Hills at Borden Park starts at 6p with family games, music and live entertainment, and the fireworks kicking off at 10:06pm. Fireworks Hotline – 248-841-BOOM. Stony Creek Nighttime Nature at Stony Creek Metropark – Stony Creek Metropark – (586-781-4242,
metroparks.com). A short presentation from a naturalist followed by an evening out on a nature walk. Ages 8+. $5 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113.
