West Bloomfield Parks National Trails Day – Walnut Creek Middle School. Meet and park at Walnut Creek

Middle School for a walk along our scenic and historic rail-to-trail network ending at Sylvan Manor Park. There will be naturalist on the trail to answer all of your questions or discuss what you discovered along the way. Free shirts are passed out between 8a-8:30a at a first come, first served basis while supplies last. This is a FREE event. No pre-registration required. Hosted by WB Parks.

West Bloomfield Parks Go Fish Event – Marshbank Park (wbparks.org)

Join WB Parks on the fishing pier located on Cass Lake to share in this great outdoor pastime. WB Parks will have staff on hand with a limited number of fishing poles provided for hands-on instruction to get you and your child started. Win a fishing themed prize if you catch the smallest or the largest fish. A simple craft and game will be available in case the fish aren’t biting. $9 resident / $11 non-resident. Southfield Outdoor Movie Nights

Southfield Outdoor Movie Nights – Southfield MI will host outdoor summer movie nights under the stars as part of their Family Fun Nights hosted periodically throughout the summer.

Previous years have offered fun for the whole family featuring a Kids’ Fun Area with loads of inflatables (you MUST wear socks to participate on the inflatables!), rock climbing wall and more.

Be sure to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit and enjoy the movie. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

West Bloomfield Summer Concerts Marshbank Park – West Bloomfield Parks offers summer concerts for kids at Marshbank Park on Wednesday nights for families as part of Marshbank Music Summer Concert Series.

Kids and families are invited to stay after the concerts to meet the performers, play on Marshbank Park play structures.
