Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm

Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910.

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Kensington Park Mothers Day Walk

Kensington Park Mothers Day Walk – at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com) 10a-11a or 1p-2p. Take an hour-long guided walk and discover the budding spring wildflowers, chattering birds, and rich habitats. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Permits are on sale NOW. Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series

Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-625-6473) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are

adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
