Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series
Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-625-6473) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are
adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic
Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Independence Oaks – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats
are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements. Holly CAST for Kids FREE Fishing Event at Seven Lakes State Park. Two-three hours of fishing, a delicious
lunch and an awards celebration where children will receive a personalized plaque. This is a FREE event. Pre-registration required at castforkids.org.

Commerce Lake Fireworks
Commerce Lake Fireworks – North Commerce Lake / Commerce Twp MI. Fireworks launched from a barge on the north end of Commerce Lake. The show will go on rain or shine! In the event of severe weather – the rain date will be the following day. Hosted by the North Commerce Fireworks Committee.
