O.A.K. in the Hills at Spencer Park. Enjoy archery, camping, yoga, rock wall, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking,
reptiles, pickleball, zip line and more during O.A.K. in the Hills Outdoor Adventure Kickoff. All ages are welcome and admission is FREE. This event is sponsored by Oakland County Parks and Recreation and the City Rochester Hills.

Highland Twp Memorial Day Events – 8a, 8:30a, & 9a – Parade starts at 11a in Downtown Milford
Highland Cemetery (561 N Milford Rd, Highland Charter Twp, MI 48357)
Highland Veterans Memorial Park (200 W Livingston Rd, Highland Charter Twp, MI 48357)
West Highland Cemetery (S Hickory Ridge Rd, Milford, MI 48380)
American Legion Post 216 (510 W Commerce, St. Milford, MI)
Three ceremonies conducted by Highland VFW Post 9914. NOTE – Ceremonies are very brief. Those planning on attending should arrive at the locations well before the scheduled start times. 8a at Highland Cemetery, 8:30a at Highland Veterans Memorial Park, and 9a at West Highland Cemetery. Center Line Independence Festival & Fireworks – at Memorial Park Centerline. Fireworks close out Saturday evening of the annual Independence Fest which features crafts, live music, food trucks, a beer tent, and more.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-858-0100. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Mt Clemens Fireworks
Mt Clemens Fireworks at Clinton Riverfront Park. The Independence Day Celebration fireworks will be launched at Dusk (approximately 10p) following a concert. Prime viewing is located throughout Downtown Mount Clemens near the Clinton River waterfront Downtown. NB Gratiot Ave, and the Crocker and Dickinson bridges are closed to vehicle traffic at approximately 7p. For more info, please call the Mt Clemens DDA at 586-469-4168.
