Detroit VegFest
Detroit VegFest – The state’s largest plant-based event returns to Eastern Market for a second year with nearly 100 vendors, including popular plant-based restaurants, specialty food items, and eco-friendly shopping. Additionally, attendees can enjoy cooking demonstrations, speakers, free plant-based food samples, and fun for the kids. For more details, visit vegmichigan.org.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program
Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Chandler Park Sounds of Summer
Chandler Park Sounds of Summer – This is a FREE, family-friendly performance featuring musicians from the Detroit Symphony

Holly Movies in the Park at dusk at Crapo Park. Concessions will be available for purchase. The free summer outdoor movies begin at dusk. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and don’t forget the popcorn! Refreshments and concessions will be sold for a small fee.
