Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Stony Creek Metropark MetroBarks: Paws in the Park – (586-781-4242, metroparks.com)
Explore Stony Creek Metropark with your furry friend. During each program, a park interpreter will meet you at different dog-friendly rustic trails throughout the park. Enjoy a nice hike through the woods as you discover the trees, wildflowers, and animals that call the Metroparks home. All ages event. $5 Adult / $3 Child. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

During the 10-day Oakland County Fair, there will be a midway with carnival rides, fireworks, free concerts, monster trucks, a demolition derby and exhibits. Visitors can stroll through many barns to see horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, poultry, dogs, cats, rabbits and even newborn animals.
