Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature two separate areas for ages 1-4 and ages 5-12. The schedule is as follows – 1p at Garbuitt Park (end of Marie Street near Eight Mile and Pincecrest) for ages 1-4 only, 1:30p at Geary Park (Pinecrest St north of W Nine Mile Rd), 2p at Martin Rd Park (Lewiston Ave W of Hilton Rd). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to see the Easter Bunny and enjoy hot chocolate, s’mores, and a senior bake sale goods. This is a FREE and non-registration event. The Hawk Sunday Super Bounce – 10a-11:30a (ages 2-5) or 11a-1p (ages 6-11). Once a month on special mornings and afternoons HAWK staff members will set up the inflatable bouncers in the gym to make an arena of fun. Enjoy the big bouncer, bouncer obstacle course, and giant inflatable slide. $5. Hosted by the Farmington Hills Special Services (Parks & Rec) Department. Pre-registration required. To register.
Kids Night at the Hawk Community Center – Parents can plan a special night-out while kids get to enjoy a night-in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in. Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should bring a swimsuit if they wish to participate in pool activities. AGES 5-11. Resident/Non-Resident $25/$30. To register.
